ELECTROLESS NICKEL PLATING
This is an auto-catalytic plating process during which nickel is evenly deposited over the surface of the base metal.
PTFE NICKEL PLATING
A true Co-Deposition, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) particles are deposited in a matrix of Nickel plating this imparts excellent lubricity onto the coated part.
ZINC PLATING
Zinc is popular as a fastener coating because it is the least expensive, can be applied in a broad range of thicknesses, has good-to-excellent corrosion resistance, and is relatively non-toxic.
GOLD PLATING
Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of 24kgold on the surface of any part. Our gold plating has a trace amount of Boron in the deposit to provide the plating with extra hardness and wear resistance.
BLACK OXIDE
Our specially formulated Black Oxide bath is used to blacken hard to coat metals such as Stainless Steel. A variety of top coats are available, including polymer and dry-to-touch sealers after blackening.
CHEMICAL CONVERSION
Conversion coatings are coatings for metals where the part surface is converted into the coating with a chemical or electro-chemical process. Our chromate conversion coatings, conform to RoHS and ELV standards. They are used for corrosion protection, increased surface hardness, to add decorative color and as paint primers. Conversion coatings may be very thin, on the order of 0.00001".
PASSIVATION
Passivation of all grades of Stainless Steel is what imparts the material with its well-known corrosion resistance. We process all grades of Stainless to MIL, ASTM, and AMS specifications.
CHEMICAL CLEANING
Chemical cleaning and de-greasing of components is probably the most important part of any automatic metal finishing process, prior to plating. In addition to rust and oxide removal, we offer degreasing of parts as well.
